My First Post

There are so many health,food and parenting websites available today. But still i determined to start a blog to share about the good things that i learned, tested and experienced.

Focusing on fitness, currently i am overweight and have thyroid issue. I have started this blog to keep track of my fitness & weight loss journey and also to share the information to my readers. Being overweight, i struggle sometimes to do my everyday work. I have tried so many weight loss methods and achieved success. I lost my weight but i lost my health too. Eventually, i found a diet that works. It is Paleo diet. I started to follow Paleo/Primal diet with few alterations that fits my life style. My start weight is 74. I will be sharing all my recipes and my everyday diet.

Being a mom of two kids, i always take extra care while cooking for the kids like most of the mummies here. But i do take care that they stay from Junk food, artificially sweetened drinks and processed foods etc.. There is a saying that " Children don't listen, they follow their parents". Hence, i try to stay a good role model for them. I cook and pack their school lunches.Since it is hard to control them from these junk foods, i allow them to eat cake or chocolates on Sunday.
